Ahmedabad Street Dogs

Well, while the name of blog is 'Ahmedabad Street Dog' then why we should not start the blog for the street dog. On the streets, in the fields, on the side walks, under public stairwells every village, small town, or in cities of India find the dog. we came to know that these dog breed is "Pariah dog" also known as pye dog or feral dog and these are not pure pariah dog they come from some mixed (Pariah-type feral dogs ) breed. Not just dogs but you can find cow, bullock and sometimes goats also on city street.


These dogs survive on people's wasted food and the belief of hindu people that first bread (Roti) goes to cow or dog. Now a days some astrologer also advise for the better fortune one should feed dogs.


In many Indian cities municipality and animal organizations catch street dogs, spay/neuter and vaccinate them against rabies (putting a notch in one ear to signify that the dog has been sterilized) and then release the dogs back to their original neighbourhoods. Since dogs are territorial, they prevent new, unsterilised dogs from moving in.


Two wheelers are biggest transport vehicle for inside city all over India. The wandering dogs on roads creates lots of troubles for two wheeler drivers and the street dogs run behind them and make them scare. 80 % to 90% orthopaedic surgery are made due to dogs harassment while driving two wheeler.


On the roads two wheelers and cars hits the dogs and dogs are also get injured and these scene are pitiful on the street. There must be a way out, one has to stay on road either man or dog. These Pariah kind of dogs are here on this land before the Ahmadashah Badshah came and put the first stone of Ahmedabad city. Dogs have privilege to live. Not confusing matter more, there should be way out instead of injuring each other.



In western country, they will clean up the city if they have such a problem and they had did before couple of 100 years ago, so they don't have any animals or birds left in city and they will seek opportunity to abuse India on having animal on the street. India have many animals and birds in the city like cow, monkey, cat, pigeon, sparrow, kite, parrot, kabar,peacock, coo-coo and crow.
